Lacey Garrison is an Associate Attorney in Sand Law’s Fargo office, where her practice focuses exclusively on criminal defense. She is committed to protecting her clients’ rights and guiding them through the legal process with focus and integrity.
Originally from the Turtle Mountain Region of North Dakota, Lacey graduated from St. John Public High School and went on to earn her Associate’s Degree from Dakota College at Bottineau, where she was also a member of the volleyball team. She later earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education from Minnesota State University Moorhead, with an emphasis in History and a secondary emphasis in Geography.
Before pursuing a legal career, Lacey taught Social Studies and coached volleyball at Dunseith Public High School. After three years in education, she enrolled at the University of North Dakota School of Law. While in law school, she gained hands-on experience at a criminal defense firm, where she began building the skills she uses in practice today. Prior to joining Sand Law, she also worked in family law, gaining courtroom experience and helping clients navigate emotionally complex legal issues.
Outside the office, Lacey enjoys time with family and friends. During the summer, you’ll likely find her at the lake, enjoying the water or relaxing by the campfire.
