Thomas Johnson

Thomas Johnson earned his Juris Doctor from Mitchell Hamline School of Law in 2019 after receiving his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Minnesota in 2016.

He is licensed to practice in Minnesota and Wisconsin, as well as the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota and the Eastern District of Wisconsin. Thomas focuses his practice on personal injury law and brings experience from both defense and plaintiff-side litigation, giving him a broad understanding of how injury cases are evaluated, defended, and resolved.

Earlier in his career, Thomas clerked for Judge Thomas Gilligan, an experience that helped strengthen his understanding of courtroom procedure, legal analysis, and judicial decision-making. He later worked as a personal injury attorney and associate attorney handling complex litigation matters before joining Sand Law.

Thomas chose a career in law because he wanted to hold wrongdoers accountable while helping clients through some of the most difficult periods of their lives. He understands that after an injury, clients should be focused on healing and recovery, not navigating complicated legal systems alone.

When representing clients, Thomas believes in bringing compassion and common sense to the attorney-client relationship. He strives to cut through unnecessary legal jargon and meet clients where they are in both life and their legal journey.
